The Academy of Natural Sciences had a contest to promote their live Gecko exhibit. The concept: buy a plastic gecko blank from the gift shop. Decorate. Display.  There were many wonderful pieces exhibited. Here are 2 examples: 

Having recently completed the Academy's Hadrosaurus Foulkii exhibit, Mike envisioned his gecko in the image of the original hadrosaur as envisioned by Waterhouse Hawkins.  27 hours later, behold - Geckosaurus Foulkii is born. This is what can happen when Mike is left alone with a bandsaw.
